cv
Here is Going Public Theatre Company’s CV of things we’ve done and people we’ve worked with… past and present tense.

Spring Harvest alongside Lacey Theatre Company
Since we established in 2007 we have worked with Lacey Theatre Company on various projects. One of which was Spring Harvest in 2009, where under Lacey Theatre Company we performed main stage in the big top, with Springs Dance Company and Bob Hartman.
After hours events in both Soul Survivor and Momentum.
We did a collaboration of pieces that all looked at our journey with God; fun times.
Toured debut show ‘The Tiger, The Snitch and The Chest of Drawers’
A two man adaptation of the infamous ‘The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe’ by C.S Lewis, but with a few changes here and there. Lewis had a Lion – we had a tiger, he had a wardrobe – we had a chest of drawers, he had a Narnia – we had a Hernia!
Prayer Breakfast of Wales
A big breakfast and a prayer time for the country, with creative juices oozing throughout – song, poetry, creative readings and drama.
Ignite, and Ignite Hope
We got involved with the work of Ignite and Hope Cardiff since we got off the ground in 07 and have been the resident theatre company ever since.
Church tours with class acts like Rob Parsons, Tony Campolo, Shane Claiborne and Rob Bell
Speakers like these know how to tell stories. They know how to hold a crowd. But quality professional drama can be a great tool to access the point made in a sermon and back it up through drama. Now, when I say drama, I don’t mean ‘skits’ and ‘sketches’ as such, I mean theatre. Creative communication through characters, words, entertainment and passion.
The Tentmaker
‘From coat rail, reading in braille to frail in jail’
‘The Tentmaker’ A one man show on the life of Paul the Apostle. A show throughout England and Wales which consisted of 2 tours, 24 venues (plus 2 standing ovations), 2 hairy technicians, a white van (minus the white), a gardening product and a shed load of bamboo sticks!
